Job Summary
This role is not for every ER nurse.
We are seeking Emergency Room Registered Nurses who are confident managing high-acuity patients, leading resuscitations, and functioning independently in fast-paced Emergency Departments across Nova Scotia.
Our partner facilities rely on travel nurses who can walk into a busy ER, integrate quickly, and safely manage complex emergencies with minimal orientation.

What You'll Be Trusted To Do?
Perform rapid assessments and accurate CTAS triage
Manage unstable and high-acuity ER patients independently
Lead and actively participate in traumas, and resuscitations
Initiate emergency interventions confidently and efficiently
Provide advanced cardiac monitoring and recognize early deterioration
Administer IV therapy, critical medications, and blood products
Stabilize critically ill patients for admission or transfer
Collaborate seamlessly with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain precise and timely EMR documentation

Required Qualifications
Active Nova Scotia RN License
Minimum 2 years STRONG recent Emergency Room experience
Demonstrated high-acuity ER practice
CTAS certification Required
TNCC, ACLS, and BLS Required
Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency stabilization skills
Ability to work independently in fast-paced ER environments
Assets
Travel nursing experience
Rural or high-volume ER experience
Previous Nova Scotia travel assignments
